Growing up in Southern California and having hispanic heritage I was immersed in the Mexican-American cuisine. I grew up with a lot of family gatherings involving tortillas, beans, Spanish rice, and whole lot of flavor. La Victoria® Brand has always been the bold and unique flavor of choice in my family and now they are celebrating 100 years!
100 Years of La Victoria® Brand
This year La Victoria® Brand will be celebrating 100 years by hosting dinners along the west coast. If you’re a flavor seeker and interested in attending one of the dinner events, register here. The dinner events feature a local chef and delicious Mexican-inspired cuisine.
I will be attending the 100 Years of La Victoria® Brand dinner event here in San Diego. I’m so excited to attend this event. It’s being held at Junípero Serra Museum which sits on a hilltop overlooking Old Town San Diego Historic State Park. Chef Christine F. Rivera will be preparing flavorful dishes for the dinner including her Wood Grilled Adobo Squash Taco here.
This past Tuesday I celebrated my excitement for the upcoming event with my family while sharing the flavors of La Victoria® Brand and recreating the Wood Grilled Adobo Squash Taco. With the lack of a grill I couldn’t get the perfected grilled squash but I baked my adobo smothered squash in the oven to perfection. My Adobo Squash Taco was topped off with La Victoria® Brand Red Taco Sauce Medium for an extra splash of bold flavor.
Flavors of La Victoria® Brand
La Victoria® Brand has been part of the culinary west coast spirit since 1917! From taco sauce, hot sauce, and salsa, they’re flavors are bold and unique.
I don’t know about you but La Victoria® Brand salsa has been in my life since forever! I love their flavors and I love chips and salsa. La Victoria® Brand Mango Habanero Salsa has the perfect balance sweet and spicy and I absolutely obsessed.
I love the variety of their products and flavor. La Victoria® Brand Green Taco Sauce can be used as a taco topping, to marinate chicken in, or even to make enchiladas. If you like spicy like myself, then don’t forget the La Victoria® Brand Salsa Brava hot sauce to add to your tacos, eggs, or any other dish you want to add some spice to.
