April Income and Traffic Report
Oh my gosh! Did April just fly by or what?
I have been non-stop busy this month with blog posts, school work, and Stagecoach Music Festival. The last week of this month put me out on my booty when it came to productivity haha and I’ve been worthless the majority of this week. So, sorry for the absence here. 🙂
This month started out pretty strong and then slowly dropped a little and plateaued. My steady engagement in the first half of the month really boosted my numbers but I noticed a drop during my unproductive week.
Here’s a look into Income and Traffic for April.

NEVER MISS A WEEK OF BLOGGING
Although I created some good content this month the week before going out of town I didn’t post at all and the week before that I posted once. Looking back on takeaways from last month’s income report consistency is still key. I did a lot better than the previous month and could tell the more consistent and present I was with my blog, the more traffic came in. I almost hit 5,000 page views for the month of April too which is huge for Collectively Christine.
MAKING GOOD PIN-ABLE IMAGES BOOST TRAFFIC
Pinterest still remains my #1 social media referral. I’ve been focusing a lot redoing old post pins and making eye catching pins for my new posts. This has helped a lot with my traffic.

Awesome job! I’ve learned a lot from this post. As a blogger, it’s nice when others are open with what they are making and the #s so you don’t feel alone! Keep up the work! Thanks for sharing

Taking a week off can definitely impact traffic! I have noticed that even a day off during the week can throw things off!

You saw a good increase in Instagram. Way to go! I had a 20% reduction in pageviews in April. I am not sure why.
What a good month for you! Continue rocking it, girl.
xoxo, Jenny
I experienced that in March. I normally post twice a week and just skipped one week and saw a huge difference in my engagement and numbers over those days. I typically do a 2 posts with a 3 day campaign (counting the weekend as one day). It’s insane how much of a difference it makes. Your pins must be awesome because your referral rate is great!
I recently found your blog via the FB group engagement thread and I’m so happy I found your blog.
Thank you for the insight to your monthly income report – I have some work to do on consistency myself so its great to hear the analytics behind it.
Congrats on the instagram increase!
i love your takeaways!
I am working at growing my pinterest as well and good images are very important. I didn’t even bother with any other social media so far but i only started less then a month.
