April 2017 Income and Traffic Report
It’s been almost a year since I’ve done an income report. I’m not sure why I stopped doing them because they were very insightful. They helped me stay on top of my goals and gave me a snapshot of the areas that my blog has been excelling and where it needs some work.
You can read my last Income Report here.
So with that being said I’m back at it with my income reports. Since July 2016 I have increased my monthly blog income 9x and have become more established as a blogger. I’m proud of how far I have come with my little blog and I’m looking forward to the rest of this year. Let’s dive into the report.

I HAVE SOME THINGS TO WORK ON
Over the last couple of months my page-views have plummeted. I’m not sure why but I intend to look into it and try to get it back up again. Posting regularly has been really hard for me lately. While working a full-time job and having very busy weekends, the time for me to blog is very limited. But I’m not going to let that stop me and I will keep on keeping on. 🙂
Goals from last income report (revisited)
- 2 blog posts per week. –>not quite. 7 blog posts total for April and they were quite sporadic. I need to establish a blogging schedule so that my posts are more structured.
- Makeover old posts –>Still haven’t done this. Woops!
Update pins and images.–> Got most of these done.Finish strong with school.–> Finished my Holistic Health Coaching program last August. 🙂Stick with my Nike Training Club program.–>This was a while ago but I’m currently doing the TIU Bikini Series.
May Goals
- Keep trying to get out 2 blog posts a week.
- Create a blog schedule.
- Make a list of old posts to redo and schedule them in planner.
- Save $400
- Complete at least 4 workouts a week.
What goals do you have for May? (Personal, health, or blogging)
How did your blog traffic do last month?
What are some thing that worked for you in April?
Thanks for sharing your goals! It must be so rewarding to compare this income report to last year and see how far you’ve come in that time 🙂
You go girl, this is inspiring, you’re able to pull in that much cash with only 7 new posts. My goals for may are to find a tribe, grow my nieche, and get my work scene.
Girl keep killing it!!! This is such inspiration for me xx
Dude, I’v e been struggling to do 2 posts a week too. That was my original goal, looks like I’m stuck at 1 :/ Love reading income reports, keep em coming!
I chuckled while reading this because our Google Analytics looks the exact same way in terms of most social media referrals coming from Pinterest. I’m so impressed with your 10,000+ Instagram followers – how do you do it? We just hit 1k and we’re really excited to grow our Insta following!

You’re doing great! I love income and goals reports. One of my goals for May is to finish 8 books!
This is amazing! I used to want to focus on earning more money through my blog, and I was good about it for two years, but I’ve fallen off the wagon since working on the cruise ship. It’s so hard to keep up with everything with such spotty wifi. I love reading posts like this though because it gives me ideas for the future when I can finally get back into it. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing these insights. Recently, I too have been struggling with my pageviews. Gotta work on that. 🙂
Love,

I am such a sucker for income reports! I just love the insights into what is sworking, what isn’t, and the goal setting. It’s so much easier to be accountable to your own goals when you put them in writing and publish them. I think you’re doing great. I too work a full time job – and also have a 9 month old – and struggle to keep things building with my blog. But I’m determined, and so are you, and we’ll get there!
How amazing – congrats! And I definitely need to add freshening up my older images and posts to my June goals list.
How cool! Hey I am am TIU girl, too!!!
Looks like updating those pins had a fantastic effect– your Pinterest traffic is great! I love reading posts like this, makes me want to get my butt in gear 😛
Girl, that’s awesome you’re making money off your blog. That’s always a great feeling. Also, I’ve been meaning to update my blog posts for a year now and haven’t, so it’s totally okay if you missed that one. You aren’t alone!
Thank you for sharing your report and goals, it’s always so interesting to see others! I need to work on being more consistent.
These posts are always so inspiring to me, I think it’s great that you also not only share your income but your goals as well!
