Childhood Memories + CMN Hospitals

This post is sponsored by General Mills. All thoughts and opinions are my own.”

When I was a child I loved lots of things like coloring books, arts & crafts and going to my grandma’s house. I loved going over to her house on the weekends because she always had fun stuff to do, yummy snacks and the best collection of movies! Movie nights were my favorite!

Some of my favorite movies were Fern Gully, Rescuers Down Under, and Homeward Bound. I loved grabbing a snack, piling up blankets and pillows on the floor and getting ready for the movie to start.

Another reason I love going to my grandma’s, besides the fact that she was so loving, was because she ALWAYS had Lucky Charms! It was my favorite cereal as a child and my favorite snack for movie nights. I would fill up a bowl and slowly eat the cereal pieces and save the marshmallows for last. 🙂

This is one of my favorite memories as a child, memories that every child should have. That’s why I’m so excited to partner with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and General Mills.

About CMN Hospitals

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals are a network of children hospitals that are dedicated to providing the most exceptional care for children. As you may know, insurance doesn’t cover everything and treatment can be costly but that’s where CMN Hospitals come in. They raise more than $5 billion a year to fill the gap in coverage. This money is mostly raised $1 at a time through their Miracle Balloon icon campaigns.

My local CMN Hospital, Rady Children’s Hospital, has a special place in my heart. I am constantly supporting Rady through Miracle Balloon campaigns and other fundraisers that take place through San Diego County.

During the month of May you can support CMN Hospitals when purchasing General Mills Cereals at Costco. You can Lucky Charms at local San Diego Costcos with cancer survivor Kaylee Mikulsky on it. She received top of the line treatment from Rady Childrens Hospital to treat her Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. You can read all about the children of CMN Hospitals here.
