Oh my goodness! Is it really Friday? Did anyone else feel like this week just dragged on? I don’t know what it was but my week was so long. It did end up being a good week though. I started eating whole foods and eliminated processed foods this week, with the exception that it’s Friday and they had donuts in the office this morning (I may have had one of these sweet treats). I worked a lot on revamping old blog post and brainstorming new content ideas. I also (almost) caught up on my IIN course work. So yeah, it’s been a pretty productive and busy week for me. I’m looking forward to the weekend, even though it’s going to be rainy, because it’s jam packed with a list of DIY projects for the blog and healthy recipes. With Andrew being gone for 2 weeks I have to keep myself productive and busy. So crafting, picture taking, and blogging it is. 🙂 Here’s this week’s Friday Favorites.
1. Favorite Multivitamin (via Garden of Life)
These have been my favorite multivitamins so far. They are made from real, nutritious foods and are USDA Certified Organic and Non-GMO. What I really love about these is that they are made from actually food and not chemically altered or a synthesized version of a vitamin or mineral. You can tell that this is true because you know how an apple or avocado turns brown after sitting out for a while? Well this is true for these vitamins too. I forgot to take them one day and left them on the counter and they turned very dark brown. So that being said I’m very very happy with this Vitamin and I just ordered another bottle but this time I got the “Once Daily” version because I would rather just take one vitamin instead of two. So we will see if they make me feel just as good as my original vitamin.
2. Ariat Heritage Boot (purchased at my local Boot Barn)
With Stagecoach Music Festival only one month away (YIPPIE!!!) I had to endulge in a new boot! I got the Ariat Heritage Boot at Bootbarn for a steal of a deal! $98! They are super comfy and going to be my new go to boot. Sorry Shyanne, time to make room for the new boot in town. 🙂
3. SheaMoisture Body Lotion (learn more here)
This stuff is a skin saver! Especially in the winter and early spring when your skin gets the most dry. It’s super thick and moisturizing and it smells amazing!
4. Tone It Up Foam Roller (via Tone It Up)
So if you’ve never tried foam rolling, you must! It’s great for rolling out those sore muscles and creating flexibility. It hurts like hell but you feel so much better after. I got the Get Fit Bundle from Tone It Up and it was only $28. It came with this super nice foam roller and mini resistance bands.
5. Icarus (not for sale)
With Andrew gone he has been such the lover this week. Normally he’s best buds with Andrew (mind you he’s my cat) and pretends to not know me. haha. But he has been attached to my hip with his BFF gone. Needless to say he has been the best company and I’m taking advatage of all the stuggles I can get. 🙂
Welp that’s it! Happy weekend darlings! I hope you all have a great one 🙂

Loving those boots! I need a new pair for the summer.

Thanks Jenny. I want a floral pair but they’re a little damaging on the budget haha. These were so cheap that I couldn’t pass them up. I almost walked out with two but I talked myself out of the other pair. 😉
Those boots are perfect!! I’m going to a country music festival this summer and hope to find a cute pair before then!

Bootbarn! My favorite place for cute boots 🙂
I also just started going clean and eating less processed food and cutting out (down) on artificial sweeteners. For me the 80/20 rule is king. 80% of the time I try to eat what is best for me and the other 20% are for cheats … like donuts and cupcakes and all the other guilty pleasures. Your kitty is adorable and such a fluff ball 🙂

That’s a great rule to have because some days donuts are a must! 🙂
I love those boots! I’m not a fan of cowboy boots but I would totally wear those! I’m not a multi-vitamin person but I do take a few supplements. Oh my goodness I need to try that foam roller thing. I see people at the gym with those all the time. Love your cat, so cute!! Thanks for sharing all of your favs for the week!!

Love the boots! I have a pair like that on my wish list!

Oh nice! I have a couple on my wish list that have a lot more flare. But they’re so pricey! Maybe I’ll get one of them for my birthday haha That will be my next excuse to buy yet another pair of boots haha.
I’ll have to check out those vitamins. I love their other supplements. I currently use the MegaFood daily, which is also another favorite of mine!
