Happy happy Friday! I hope you all had an awesome week ?. This week was pretty busy for me but I got a lot done and accomplished. Speaking of accomplishments, I have managed to get up early 3/5 days this week which is pretty big for me because I love my sleep.
I’ve had a great week implementing those healthy habits that I started this year. I say HABITS because they aren’t things I’m trying to fix or resolve, they are things that I want to be a part of my daily life. “New Years Resolutions” just weren’t serving me and this has been obvious for God knows how long. Year after year I would start my resolutions and fail.
2018 is all about leaving those resolution behind and being limitless. Are you with me? Are ya, are ya? Throw “I can’t” out of your vocabulary and start embracing the little imperfections instead of letting them hold you back.
Here are some of my favorite things this week!
I just started using this app last week, and I seriously have nothing but good things to say about it. I’ve done 3 workouts so far. One quick 15 min cardio that was perfect when I didn’t really have time for a long workout, and two 40 min endurance walk/runs.
I’m not the best runner but man do these instructors motivate you and I’m finding a love for running again thanks to Gixo App. I’ve had instructors in London and Texas which is so cool and you can see them on water breaks and check ins throughout the workout.

This year we are focusing on being limitless. The #IAmLimitless campaign has been amazing. Seeing everyone push their limits and check in with each other has given me some hard core #inspo.

My New Workout Schedule
It’s been a long time since I’ve liked my workout schedule. I could never find one that really helped me work towards my goals. So I sat down and wrote out my fitness goals and what I wanted to accomplish:
- Get stronger.
- Increase my cardio.
- Keep it interesting so that I don’t get bored.
- Increase flexibility
For my new workout schedule I do 3-4 times weights and HIIT/Interval Training, at least 2 cardio days, and 1-2 days stretching/yoga. I love this schedule and I’m already feeling so much stronger and my endurance is building up.
Replacing “I Can’t”
I can, I can, I can! This has been my favorite word of the week! There is no more “I Can’t.”
“I can’t do pull-ups.”–>I CAN do pull-ups if I have support. Pull-up assist bands are my new favorite accessory to help me do them. I’ve been using a 50-75lb assist band to help me do pull-ups.
“I can’t do push-ups.”–>This one makes me laugh because it was favorite thing to say when I had to face push-ups. I finally starting doing them on my knees, then that turned into being able to do a couple normal, and now I can do push-ups!
So I challenge you to replace “I can’t” and challenge yourself with “I can.” It’s really amazing what your body is capable of doing when you get your mind right. ??
Set your mind right and everything else will fall into place:
I AM LIMITLESS. I know no boundaries. I defy limits. I rise above and I go beyond what is possible. I know there is nothing we can’t accomplish, together.
