Merry Christmas ya’ll! I hope you are all having a blessed holiday with family and friends. This year the holidays have taken me to Minnesota to visit Andrew’s family. We had a very long day of traveling on Thursday but it was well worth it.
Christmas morning isn’t complete with your favorite cup of Joe. With this homemade recipe, you can add a little holiday spirit to your black coffee. What I love about recipe making is the excitement of throwing things together and hopefully (fingers crossed) creating something yummy.
homemade vanilla cinnamon creamer
I experimented with some homemade creamers and came up with this yummy concoction. I used 5 ingredients that I had in my pantry and just tried it out. It’s a very light vanilla cinnamon flavor and not too sweet.[yumprint-recipe id=’12’]INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup of coconut cream (Cream separated from the water. Instructions here.)
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp. agave nectar
You’ll want to warm up the almond milk and coconut cream because the cream is really thick and it will dissolve better once warmed. Make sure you don’t mix the can of coconut cream either because it will be watery and we want it to be creamier.
This is such a simple recipe and you can customize it to your own liking. If you want it sweeter just add a little more nectar. Also, you can change up the spices. The options are endless.
Enjoy your holidays, family, and cup of coffee.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, christine
