I love tacos! Fish, chicken, beef! I love it all. What better than to have a Taco Tuesday party right here at Bloom & Bliss. Love the idea? So do I!
On today’s menu we have (drum roll)…
Honey Lime Southwest Shrimp Tacos
Andrew and I both love shrimp and are always trying to come up with new ways to incorporate it into our entrees.
I was craving tacos one night so I thought “why not some shrimp tacos”. I searched the internet high and low for a good shrimp taco recipe but couldn’t find one that I was set on. I liked different elements from multiple recipes, so I decided to combine parts I liked into one recipe.
- Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper
- Lime Juice

The room filled with the aroma of all these ingredients combined and I wanted to devour the shrimp right then and there but I still had the Chipotle Lime Crema to make still and warm the tortillas. So I
resisted might have only eaten 1 little shrimp, you know, just to make sure it tasted ok. 😉
Moving on to the Chipotle Lime Crema…
I chopped up some cilantro and avocado for more taco toppings. I only used half an avocado because Andrew doesn’t like avocados! Say what!!!?? I know, craziest thing I ever heard. So I only made enough for myself.
I quickly warmed the tortillas and we made our plates. Let me tell you they were A-MAZING!
Top with your crema and then it’s time to enjoy some delicious tacos and a beautiful Tuesday night. 🙂
