    June 2017 Income Report

    July 11, 2017 · Blogging, Income Reports

June 2017 blog income reportJune 2017 Income and Traffic Report

And then it was almost halfway through July! Man June was busy but July has been so much busier! I’m excited to share this income report with you all this month. I did really well this month and I’m looking forward to growing my skills even more.

You can read my last Income Report here.

I saw quite a peak in income this month and it was due to a delay in payment that some influencer networks require. But I was quite happy with the additional income I made. So let’s look into how June went for Collectively Christine.

    INCOME

    • Sponsored Posts: $2352.20
    • Amazon Affiliates: $12.84
    • Other Affiliates: $16

    Total: $2381.04

Start your own blog in less than 10 mins with this post.

    EXPENSES

    • Adobe – $29.99: I use this to edit my pictures (lightroom), create graphics (photoshop), and I’m learning more about how to use Illustrator. They also offer a student discount. 🙂
    • Milotree – $9.99: I’m going to try this out for a couple months to see if it helps boost my following.

    Total: $39.98

    SOCIAL MEDIA STATS

    • Facebook – 343 (0%)-Sad! haha I really need to work on growing my Facebook Page.
    • Instagram – 10265 (-.7%)–>Again followers and unfollowers. It’s quite annoying but what can you do.
    • Pinterest – 1656 (+2.3%)
    • Twitter – 947 (+1%) – I would really like to get this to 1000 followers soon.

    TRAFFIC TOTAL

Below are some screenshots from my Google Analytics. You can click the images to get a closer look.

    TRAFFIC OVERVIEW

    June 2017 blog income report

    TOP TEN TRAFFIC SOURCES

    SOCIAL MEDIA REFERRALS

IT’S TIME FOR A THOROUGH ANALYSIS

It’s time for me to sit down and really hone in on how to boost my page views. I feel I’m caught in a rut with this and my traffic is at a plateau. Pinterest is still my #1 referral and I don’t expect that to ever change. What have you done to get out of a traffic rut? I would love to hear your ideas. Instagram has been a struggle for me recently and I feel that I do really well with it and go off the deep end. All in all, I’m pretty proud of this past month.

Goals from last income report (revisited)

    • 2 blog posts a week.–>I almost did it!! 7 blog post this month. So I’m going to say I achieved this.
    • Create a blog schedule.–>I’m stuck with this.
    • Schedule posts for the month in my bullet journal.–>Finally finished my bullet journal!
    • Save $300 ($150/paycheck)–>Did it!
    • Workout 6X/week and meal prep on Sundays. –>Failed due to vacation and being sick.
    • Create some blogging printables for July–>Ha! Nope. Guess I better get crackin’!

    July Goals

    • 2 blog post a week.
    • Send out weekly newsletter.
    • Keep up with my bullet journal and schedule.
    • Workout 4X/week.
    • Grow my twitter to 1000 followers.
    • Consistently post on Instagram.

What goals do you have for July? (Personal, health, or blogging)

How did your blog traffic do last month?

What are some thing that worked for you in May?

I really like how you do posts like this. I think that it is a neat idea and it sounds like you are doing very well. I hope to be able to eventually be able to say that I have made some type of money from doing my blog, which I love doing.

      I love income reports!

Facebook is such a different beast than Twitter. And I haven’t 100% figured out Pinterest yet…

I agree. Facebook is hard for me too. Although I don’t have a lot of Twitter followers, I have a better grasp on how to use it than Facebook.

Awesome work! I have really been working on my SEO to improve my affiliates and so far I am having great results. BC sponsored posts are a lot of work to promote. How do you get great engagement to keep sponsors happy. Any tips??

SEO is a big part of my posts too. I also make pins for sponsored posts even if I’m not required and that brings more traffic and engagement. 🙂 Sometimes going beyond what they ask pays off.

I feel you when it comes to sticking to a schedule. I made a goal to post 3 times a week and I did it for a few weeks, but I’ve found it’s too overwhelming for me and 2 worked wayyyyy better this week. & it allowed me to make some printablea & more pins! Sometimes less is more.. my traffic has been up xx keep at it girl!

Yeah it is annoying but then I think to myself I want people to be engaged not just follow. If they aren’t engaging with my post (like or commenting) then “see ya later”. haha. I use an app that tracks who follows and unfollows me. I always get followed by other bloggers. I usually follow back to support my fellow blogger and then they unfollow me. That’s the part that’s annoying to me.

Omg I’m glad you said that! It is quality over quanity. I come accross a lot of blogs with posts that are slapped together and you can tell they just wrote it to have something on their blog. But I feel readers really want quality content. Pinterest is a game changer for me, obviously. I use PicMonkey collage to do my pins. 🙂

Thank you. I was reading a article recently saying how brands are actually choosing smaller influencers because they are more engaged with their followers. Obviously I’m bottom to someone who has 100,000+ PV or followers but sometimes it’s more than just numbers. 🙂

Good luck meeting your goals. I *just* hit 1000 TW followers this month, and it was hard-won. I do well planning blogging and social media work but fall short on meeting all of my plans – just not enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do. Anyway, best of luck for next month!
