March Income and Traffic Report
Hi friends! Thanks for stopping by. So this is my first income and traffic report. I wanted to start doing these to track my earnings from my blog and my growth. I’ve been blogging off and on since November 2015. I have had a lot going on in my life from my mother being ill to school and work. I haven’t been consistent with my blog posts and haven’t been taking my blog serious until recently.
With that being said I saw tremendous growth since the beginning of the year when I actually started posting regularly. It’s amazing what consistency and good content can do for your blog and social media growth.
So let’s take a deeper look into Income and Traffic for March.
income
- Google Adsense – $34.87
- Affiliates $1.72 (hehe)
expenses
- Bluehost – $18.87
- Adobe – $19.99
- Crowdfire – $9.99
social media
- Facebook – 148 (+90%)
- Instagram – 1062 (+34%)
- Pinterest – 601 (+85%)

CONSISTENCY IS KEY
Ever since I started writing more and being more engaged with the blogging community, my blog has grown tremendously. It’s not always about posting everyday but having 2-3 quality posts per week. I know I wasn’t perfect at posting in the month of March but I did post more than I have this whole year and more consistently.
ENGAGING WITH FOLLOWERS IS IMPORTANT
No one wants to follow someone who never comments back or responds to question. Unless you have a ridiculous amount of followers then there is no excuse to not follow up with your lovely followers.
April Goals
- 2-3 blog posts per week.
- Grow my email list.
- Revamp old posts and pages.
- Increase engaged social media followers.
- Start working Health Coaching landing page.
Love your social media growth, those are some awesome percentages! Consistency is definitely a struggle for me, so I would say that it’s definitely a goal for April to be more consistent. On a non-bloggy note, I also hope to not let the weeds take over the veggie garden this year.

I think it’s a struggle for everyone haha It’s always a goal month to month I try to maintain. I wish I had a veggie garnde! I’ve been wanting to plant some veggies in pots I have lying around. 🙂
I need to revamp old posts and clean up pictures.

That is some awesome growth!! I’m very impressed. I was wondering if you could give some tips on how you were able to grow your followers so much? That’s the area that I’m struggling in the most right now.
Also, do you promote through Pinterest? How were you able to get so many people to your blog through Pinterest?
Gosh so many questions… I’m sorry!! But obviously you’ve got something going on that works. Love love love your blog!

I honestly don’t know. My growth has just been going up steadily since the beginning of the year. I have been more consistent in writing and focusing on quality post instead of quantity. I have one DIY pin that drives a lot of traffic to my blog. I don’t use the promoting pin feature on Pinterest yet but have looked into it.
