Over the last couple years I’ve been learning to take better care of my skin. Before that, I was using basic face wash and lotion and didn’t really care much for my skin. Sometimes I would skip moisturizing all together…horrible right? During my Integrative Nutrition Health Coach training, I learned about being balanced in all areas of life. I learned about nutrition, internal and external, which intrigued me to start exploring natural and toxic-free beauty products. Here I am now, a couple years later, and I have a whole night care regime that was unheard of prior to my education. Who am I? I’m just a girl that is trying to preserve her natural beauty and skin for as long as I can. 🙂
I never used gadgets with my skincare routine until now. So many of my friends have raved about the their face cleansing brushes but I never jumped on that wagon. I’ve always been curious to try it out and finally got the opportunity to.
Michael Todd Soniclear
When I received my Michael Todd Soniclear I was so excited to try it. I wanted to see what all the praise for this product was about.
- Soniclear Elite
- Antimicrobial Face Brush
- Body Brush
- Charging dock and cord
So I was a little nervous about using this because I’m a creature of habit and don’t do well with new things. I have sensitive skin and I’m very particular about what I use or put on my face. But I went for it.
I put some of my favorite face wash (Alba Botanica Pineapple Enzyme Cleanser) and went to town. This brush is so soft! I thought it was going to be too rough for my skin but it wasn’t. If you want more intensity, the Soniclear has 6 sonic speeds for every skin type and C-Boost for a pulsating face massage.
Another feature I love, is that is beeps at you when it’s time to switch sections of your face. This ensures that you’re evenly giving each section some cleaning love.
Just after the first use I already felt a difference in the texture of my skin. It was so soft, like baby skin soft. Washing my face with my hands has never made my skin that soft.
One Con I did find is that it’s not good for removing eye makeup. So make sure you use some cleansing wipes before you start you actually cleansing routine.
After that I applied my Skin Laundry Restoring Night Cream that I got in one of my FabFitFun box. After that I finish off with my holy grail of night creams. Andalou Naturals is one of my favorite face care brands that I just randomly tried from Sprouts Farmers Market. The night cream I use is the Purple Carrot +C Luminous Night Cream. It’s non-toxic, vegan, and smells amazing. If you haven’t tried Andalou yet, I would highly recommend their products. I also use their BB Cream for sensitive skin.
Is Soniclear worth the money?
The Soniclear Elite starts off at #150. I think the price is fair for the value you get. It has really done wonders for my face and if you’re looking to take your skincare routine to the next level, it is a must have. My boyfriend even wants one…maybe for Christmas. 🙂
You can get 20% off of your purchase by shopping through my link here. That’s only $120, which is a great value especially if you’re shopping the market for one of these. Also Michael Todd Soniclear Elite has a 5 year warranty compared to only 2 year warranty with Clarisonic.
Let me know if you tried this little gem in the comments below.
Would you add a cleansing brush to your routine?
Do you use one already? Which one?
