The holidays are here and along with the holidays come sweet treats and dessert. I love a good apple pie during the holidays with some homemade apple cider but I try to keep my indulging only to a minimum during the holidays. After all, you’re not going to gain 10 pounds just by eating some yummy food on a couple of days. It’s when you continue the indulging way past the holidays that you start to pack those winter pounds.
Having healthy options for snacks and desert are a good way to stay healthy during the holidays. This strawberry chia seed pudding is great for any meal of the day where you’re craving those sweet treats. I love chia seeds because they are so high in omega-3’s, protein, and fiber. You can use them in smoothies, puddings, and baked goods to give you added energy.

STRAWBERRY CHIA SEED PUDDING
STEP 1: ADD 1 CUP OF ALMOND MILK TO CHIA SEEDS AND MIX. LET THEM SIT WHILE YOU CHOP YOUR STRAWBERRIES.
STEP 2: CHOP YOUR STRAWBERRIES INTO SMALL PIECES.

So I feel like I got a good deal with my membership. You can also find a two pack here for a good price. I recommend Wholesome Agave Nectar for sweetening smoothies, baked goods, and also dressing. 🙂
STEP 4: ADD THE LID TO YOUR MASON JAR AND GIVE IT A SHAKE. STORE IN THE FRIDGE FOR 3 HOURS OR OVERNIGHT.
