Tropical Breeze Smoothie

*I received products for this post but all opinions and thoughts are my own.

I have a feeling this summer is going to be hot! As we are slowly approaching the First Day of Summer, we are getting spurts of intense heat. We went through the May grey and now June gloom. But this weekend was an exception to that and it was in the high 80s and got up to almost 100 degrees in some parts of San Diego County. I spent most of the weekend outdoors, working out, and spending time with my love. I love working out and I love the way I feel after but this heat really got to me this weekend and I needed something to help my body recover while cooling me down. It was a perfect time for me to try one of Bob’s Red Mill smoothie drinks. Perfect for post recovery and a hot pre-summer day.

As a FitApproach Ambassador I am all about promoting healthy living and lifestyle and bringing the best products to my readers and followers. Firstly, Bob’s Red Mill has been my go to for all my baking and cooking needs. I love their products and I feel no one else can beat their quality. I got selected to be part of the #summerstrong campaign with FitApproach and Bob’s Red Mill (BRM) and I was sent some yummy protein nutritional booster samples to try.

What I got:

These are all an unique blend made from pea protein powder, chicory root fiber, chia seeds, and beneficial probiotics. The Vanilla, Chai, and Chocolate have monk fruit extract for a touch of sweetness. All of these protein products are gluten free, vegan, a good source of omega-3, excellent source of iron, and high in protein and fiber.

Summer protein smoothies are my favorite! They’re perfect for after a workout because they give you all the nutrients you need, but they are still cool and refreshing. The Tropical Breeze Smoothie looks amazing!

I love tropical smoothies! In fact I have been making them this week because I am tired of my usual banana chocolate smoothie.

Yes! I think they are fairly new. I’m so excited for them though because they are smooth and not gritty.
