A Letter to my Boyfriend on His Birthday

My Dearest Andrew,

Happy birthday! Today is YOUR day and I can’t wait to spend it with you. You have been such a blessing in my life and you couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. You rescued me from heartbreak and hopelessness. I thought I would never find someone that would treat me the way I deserved to be treated but you instantly changed all that from the moment I met you.

I knew from our first date that you were the one, as cliche as that sounds. When you surprised me with Starbursts wrapped in a toilet paper roll, I knew you were the one! You were instantly open with me, showing me how sappy and goofy you were without even caring what this poop-brown eyed girl thought lol. I loved that!

Even though you’ve been in my life for more than 3 years (where did that time go?), I still feel like we’ve just started dating. You keep me on my toes, smother me with hugs and kisses, and listen to me when I’m having a rough day. You have been by my side when I went through the worst time of my life and continue to comfort me when I break down.

For all of this I thank you baby! And because it’s your special day I want you to know how much I love you.
