Gift Guide 2016: The Cat Mom

Shopping for your favorite pet is always fun and rewarding especially when they really love what you got them. This Gift Guide is perfect for the cat mom who wants to keep her home clean and her kitty happy.

1. CAT TOWER

Every kitty needs a cat tower. This one is my cat’s favorite. He loves lounging in the hammock and jumping into the little den. He loves it so much that he doesn’t even cuddle with me on the couch anymore. 

2. FOOD MAT

If your cat is anything like mine, their real messy eaters. Playing with their water and food can cause a mess all over the floor. I love this one because it has a lip to prevent spills from getting on the floor. It’s also easy to use and BPA free. 

3. PREMIUM CAT LITTER

This stuff is amazing! It’s 99.9% dust-free and uses heavy, non-tracking granules for less mess. I’ve been using it for a month now and it’s been amazing. 

4. DEMATTING COMB

I bought Icarus a dematting comb a couple years ago. What I love about using this is that it takes out the undercoat which helps prevent excessive shedding especially in the summer. 

5. ARCH SELF GROOMER

Have you ever noticed rubbing themselves against sharp corners or objects? This is where the self groomer comes in handy. They are looking to itch up against something.

6. LITTER GENIE

All I can say is best thing invented. Not only do I not have to walk to the trash after every time I clean my cat’s litter box, but it’s so good at keeping odors at bay. This is especially good for small space and apartments. 

7. AUTOMATIC PET FEEDER

If you have a cat who eats too fast or over eats and then throws up then this is a must have. It has a timer that you can set for each compartment for different feeding times throughout the day. You can also record custom messages which is cool. This helped Icarus with his binge eating and now doesn’t over eat as often. 

8. COMFORT ZONE DIFFUSER

Comfort Zone is expensive but it’s because it works so well. My cat likes to scratch on my ottoman and I used the spray where he scratches and he doesn’t do it anymore. It’s also for cats that like to pee on things. So if you have one of these problems then this brand is worth trying out. 

9. LITTER BOX COVER

This stylish litter box cover is awesome. It hides the litter box and you can even put a plant on it or some decor to further conceal it. It’s also liquid and soil proof so no worrying about it absorbing into the cover. 

10. DENTAL CAT TREATS

Last but not least Greenies. Greenies are a great way to keep your kitties dental needs up to par without spending a chunk of change for cleanings. My cat loves these treats and is always happy to chow down on a couple.
